Sompting Paddocks & Livery
Croft Meadows provides Livery services with currently 11 individual paddocks of various sizes each with a field shelter and shed, with water supplies and additional all year turnout of approx 25 acres, natural shelter and ample grass. Croft Meadows also produces our own hay crops which we sell to our livery customers and we also buy in straw and items such as wormers in bulk for resale to our customers.
Yard Manager Maggie, often accompanied by her husband Ian, provide helpful information advice and support and can introduce customers to local farriers, suppliers and events. Riding lessons can be arranged on your own horse or pony.
The ethos of the business is to provide a community-spirited family friendly ambience, where horses are well cared for and happy. Maggie Williams has completed Monty Robbins' online course on Natural Horsemanship and has trained with Grant Bassin in Practical Horsemanship.
Customers' experience is enriched by the attractive setting with its historic interest and natural environment. You can find out more about these on the following pages.
Livery services include a menu of options some of which are common to all clients, some are choices.
We are a family business owned by Rosemary Tristram and managed day to day by Maggie Williams (pictured right).
